Do you offer a trial?
Yes! We are onsite professional hair and makeup company and we offer a special trial for the bride only. A trial is highly recommended. You will get to know your stylist/ makeup artist. See how the style/ makeup lasts, make sure there are no allergic reactions, know what look you are going to have, and what it looks like.
What happens at a trial?
Hair- The stylist and yourself will discuss the style you are interested in. You may bring a picture out of a magazine which is recommended or you can choose a look on our website. If you have a veil, tiara or other hair accessories, it is recommended you have them to see how the style will look for your event.
Makeup- The makeup artist will discuss what look you are going for; natural, dramatic, etc. You can also bring pictures of what you want. You will be made up how you want to look for your event. What kind of makeup you want, eyelashes etc. can all be done at the trial for an additional cost.
Now I had a trial, I loved it, and want to book for my event. How does this work?
You will fill out a contract with the Rouge Skin team member. All the details of the event, and what is needed will be on the contract. You will be charged 50% non-refundable deposit for the entire party booked, which will go towards the event. The remaining balance will then need to be paid in full 7 days prior to event to Rouge Skin by check or credit card.
What if I don't sign the contract or give a deposit?
This does not guarantee your day, and the team member will not be hired for the job. After your trial has taken place your date will not be secure until deposit has been paid. Rouge Skin staff will call you and let you know that another client is enquiring about the same date. You will then have two business to place your deposit and secure your date.
What happens on the day of the event?
Our staff arrives at your location with all materials. They then do the job that was discussed at the trial. If you want to add or subtract services that have already been paid we will reimbursed you half of what was paid as stated in the contract. The appropriate staff and materials will be there for what is stated on the contract.
What if I don't have a trial?
You will be asked to make a deposit and fill out a contract, which will guarantee your day & our staff. Arrangements will be discussed with Management. If it is last minute, we can still accommodate you.
I might need someone to stay to touch up my hair/ makeup, is that possible?
Yes! We charge $60 for the first hour, $40 for every hour after. Rates begin when you leave for the event.
Should my hair be washed?
Wash your hair the night before. It will stay better if it is a little dirty. Have it totally dried (blown strait even better). That saves time.
What should I wear?
A button or a zip down shirt. We don't want to mess up your beautiful hair and makeup!
I want extensions for my event, can you do that also?
We do natural hair extensions that clip on into your hair. This is less expensive and looks very natural while helping you achieve more body and fullness to your hair. We can order them for you after we match your hair color.
